What is Cryoablation? Cryotherapy (“cryosurgery” or “cryoablation”) is a minimally invasive procedure that involves cooling the tip of an ultra-thin needle to extremely low temperatures using compressed argon gas. This forms an iceball, which engulfs the targeted tissue & destroys diseased cells.
